MAC and more... Make-up Haul

Welcome Back once again Blogging Family!!!
Last week I made my largest transaction, on make-up. Oh and trust me make-up is expensive y'all, and a lot of mind work. (I know right, it's sad how the Make-up Industry are sucking our pockets dry and getting rich by people like me *cries*). I do like me a bit of make-up though hehe. To get all product details up above press "read more" and scroll all the way to the bottom.

However, I honestly don't know how these make-up gurus keep-up sometimes, but it's an amazing skill to have these days, I guess.
Nonetheless, I traveled left, right and centre (not really) in order to make sure I purchased everything I needed and of course, I planned what I was going to get in advance to ensure no overspending
(I can't help myself most times haha).
Because as some of you might already know, I'm planning to be my very own make-up artist *yaaay*. (P.S.  I don't ever have to worry about paying someone to cake up my face again!!!).
Yes, I know that might shock some of you guys because you probably thought all those dramatic make-up looks were performed by me. The answer is NOPE!. In fact I've said this time and time again that make-up looks are not performed by me unless I've stated it.

The Drive: 'DIY is always best!!!'
The motive started after, realizing that I don't want to be travelling and or paying someone to do my make-up anymore. I began questioning myself that it would have been easier if I could dress up my own face for special occasions etc. I already know how to use make-up but I struggled ever-so-much with contouring, highlighting and pulling off dramatic eye-looks. *Kimberly "sweet brown" Wilkins voice*

I guess I was also put off by the fact that I would have to be purchasing all that professional make-up stuff and it's expensive. Thirdly, I was waay too lazy to teach myself on YouTube for a very long time. To me, it just seemed too hard to master, as I would see millions of brushes used in one look alone. (Needless to say I probably would have saved some pounds).
But recently I engaged with the tutorials up on YouTube by various make-up artists and gurus; thoroughly watching their every move, along with what they used and how they would use it. Now I believe, I've mastered the basics and I'll just keep getting better and better from here. Though the transaction (pictured above) was expensive, I'll be saving in the long run as this is an investment.

**Disclaimer: I AM VERY AWARE THAT NOT ALL GIRLS WEAR MAKE-UP, so no need to emphasize this in the comments section below.

  7. You got some really great goodies here, Winnie! I agree, although good quality, makeup can be expensive, it's important that we consider what we're putting on our face and generally speaking, when it pertains to makeup, the higher brands are of better quality and tend to offer better results for the skin. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a wonderful day so far! Oh, be sure to let us know how you like that Urban Decay setting spray; I've had my eye on it, but haven't been too sure if it's worth the try.
